HLTA - Eco Schools and Family Support
Hello, my name is Louise Carter. I am a Higher Level Teaching Asisatnt (HLTA), Family Liaison Officer and Eco Schools Lead at Prospect House Specialist Support Primary School. I have been with the school for the past 4 years but have worked in Manchester schools for the past 28 years.
I joined Prospect House for a new challenge to open a brand new SEND provision and have found the journey so far incredibly rewarding.
Working at Prospect House has enabled me to develop a deeper understanding of a SEND provision and how the children can have a profound impact on you as an individual.
Prospect House is commited to Sustainability and Climate Change and one of my biggest achievements since working here has been the ‘Sustainability Stars’ Jamie Oliver Good Food School Award 2023. The impact our young people have had is testament to their commitment to want to make the world a better place.
Outside of school I am equally committed to sustainability and outside of school I share this passion with my family by completing activties such as walking in my local area.
