What is the Pupil Premium?
All schools receive additional funding, The Pupil Premium, which is additional to the main Special School funding from the LA and is intended to help disadvantaged pupils to 'close the gap' and to raise attainment and improve progress. A high percentage of our pupils receive Pupil Premium funding.
In the 2022 to 2023 financial year, schools will receive the following funding for each child registered
- £1345 for eligible primary aged pupils
- £955 for eligible secondary-aged pupils
- Schools will also receive £2,345 for each looked-after pupil.
